Teenage mothers, pregnant teens, and at risk youth receive guidance and support from assigned mentors in an environment that is nurturing, non-judgmental, and educational. The mentor- mentee assignments are matched according to shared interests, personality, and availability.
Through a collaborative agreement with Shelton State Community College, participants are eligible to receive free tutoring and instruction that prepares them to take the General Education Development exam. The class provides test taking strategies and information about required computer skills. As an incentive, students enrolled through Woman to Woman who successfully complete the program earn a 1-year tuition free scholarship to study at Shelton State Community College.
Workkeys Assessment and Training
Job skills assessment provided for qualified students. Students attend at least twelve hours of Adult Education classes and work on skills based on their individual Plan of Instruction. Targeted instruction can be used in place of or in conjunction with the traditional Adult Education computer programs and workbooks earning the Career Readiness Certificate.
Bottoms Up Diaper Bank
Serves families through donations from the community and grant funding sources. Families receive diapers and pull-ups free of charge. Distributions are conducted at the center monthly on the second Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
A one week summer program designed to enhance the self-esteem of girls between the ages of 7 and 18, discourage student rivalry, and encourage participation in the arts. The program is provided at no cost to participants, but donations are encouraged.
Hip Hop Dance
Classes are provided to youth between the ages of 7 and 17 years. Children are engaged in an environment that is both fun and energetic as an alternative to a sedentary lifestyle. Participants are provided an opportunity to socialize as they learn the art of creative expression through urban dance.
Drama classes are provided as a means of introducing children to theater and teach them the fundamentals of acting and stagecraft. Participants showcase their newly acquired skilled in a community performance.

Teen Parent Network
A confidential environment where teenage parents (moms and dads) and expectant teen parents can vent about their problems and get support from caring professionals and others who are going through similar struggles.
